Pick the next book without 40 messages in the group chat
Everyone adds a few books to the longlist and ticks the ones they'd happily read. You lock one in, and the meeting date gets sorted in the same place.
Or reserve a founding year for your club: $30, refundable until launch.

How it works
Everyone adds a few books
Share one link in your group chat. Nobody needs an app or an account.
Everyone ticks what they'd read
Tick as many as you like, and save your one strong vote for the book you really want.
You lock one in
The pick goes back to the chat with a few dates to choose from, and people say if they can make it.
Between meetings
Suggestions that suit your club
It learns which books your club rated well and suggests ones you're likely to enjoy, with the reason for each.
A date that works
Offer a few dates, everyone taps the ones they can make, and reminders go out the day before.
Questions for the meeting
Discussion questions for each book you pick.
Your club's reading history
Every book you've read and how the club rated it, plus a year in review to share in December.
Be a founding club
The first clubs to sign up get their first year for $30 instead of $40.
This is a pre-order. You pay $30 now, and your year starts when The Longlist opens, which we're aiming for in spring 2027. If you change your mind before then, email hello@thelonglist.club and we'll refund you in full.
Founding years open soon. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you when.
Questions
- Is it free?
- The basics are: adding books, voting, dates and your club's history. A paid plan, $40 a year for the whole club, adds suggestions picked for your club, discussion questions and text reminders. Only the organizer pays.
- Does everyone need an account?
- No. Members vote and answer from a link. Only the organizer signs up.
- When does it open?
- We're aiming for spring 2027. People on the waitlist and founding clubs get in first.
- What happens to my email?
- We use it to tell you when The Longlist opens, and for nothing else. The privacy note has the details.
